The story so far...
In late 2002 two guitarists (Phill and Jay) and a bassist
(Rick) began meeting up to jam and learn their trade together.
After about six months Rick, Phill, and Jay decided to
look for a drummer to form the band now known as D2P. After a hard search D2P found Nelly to complete the original line up.
In august 2003 D2P played their first show supporting covers
band 'smoking monkey'. D2P made several battle of the band appearances in the remainder of 2003.
In 2004 D2P broke into the local music scene and played in
excess of 40 gigs throughout the Northwest including the Griffin BOTB (reaching a closely contested semi final),Liverpool
Barfly and the Newton Music Festival which drew thousands of music lovers throughout the weekend.
March 2005 saw good friends Nelly and Jay leave the mighty
D2P. After a tough search the band once again completed the line-up welcoming Jonny(guitar) and Paul(drums) to the band.
After spending around a year helping to re shape and put the back bone back into the band Paul's time
with D2P came to an end and he left the band in autumn 06.
Having now got the sound,direction and a healthy fan base Dave Ingledew was recruited as drummer once again
completing the line up.
D2P are hoping to embark on great things and beleive they
have what it takes to fulfill their potential.
