Lead Guitar
Hailed as a master of the fretboard by some, Phill provides awesome solo's and lead
fills. Phill is also an intelligent lyricist (Nosferatu a shining example).
Phill has been influenced by the following bands: Dimmu Borgir, Ozzy Osbourne,
Judas Priest and Cradle Of Filth.
The following musicians
have also influenced Phills playing style, Kirk Hammett, Eddy Van Halen, Ygwie Malmstein, Gary Moore and Dimebag Darrel, amongst
others.
Heroes: Ozzy
Osbourne, Ygwie Malmstein and Randy Roads. Oh and Rick d2p!
Likes: Horror movies, especially
Vampire ones, Music of nearly all types and alcohol!
Dislikes: Manufactured Bands and arrogant
townies!
Gear/equipment: Phill favours his Black BC Rich Bich but also uses a grey/green
Ibanez. He has Just got a 150 watt Line 6 Spider 2 amp with a Fender 100 watt cab(still looking for a better cab but will
do for now.)Pedals used now are the spider 2 floor pedal and a Morley Wah. Uses 10 gauge strings and whirlwind guitar leads
but has recently invested in a wireless.
